What to do with a faint positive pregnancy test? Treat a faint positive pregnancy test just like a positive test. That’s what it means that you’re pregnant. Faint line on the test will not get darker by keeping for long. Next, either get a blood test or wait for a week to get a big fat positive. How does a faint positive pregnancy test look? A thin faint positive PT appears as a thin colored line in the result window of kit. An extremely thin line on pregnancy test barely visible could be an evap.

After taking a pregnancy test, a woman wants an answer to all her doubts. But what to do with a faint positive pregnancy test?

A faint positive pregnancy test instead of sorting the confusion creates more of it. A faint positive pregnancy test is like a wish half come true. You can’t grieve and start again nor can you celebrate because a doubt lingers.

A faint positive pregnancy test makes some women feel that they have a miscarriage coming their way. Threatened miscarriage by faint positive pregnancy test is very rare.

Mostly when you take a pregnancy test too early, you get a faint positive pregnancy test.

Digital pregnancy tests don’t have the issue of giving faint positive results. They either display a ‘Yes’ or ‘No.’ Some advanced pregnancy tests also show ‘pregnant’ and ‘not pregnant’.

Standard pregnancy tests show two lines as a sign of pregnancy. It is when the faint positive pregnancy test occurs.

What To Do With A Faint Positive Pregnancy Test?
What To Do With A Faint Positive Pregnancy Test?

What does a faint positive pregnancy test mean?

A faint positive pregnancy test means that you took the test too early. The hCG levels require time for rising to the detection range of home pregnancy tests.

After implantation, the embryonic layers begin producing hCG hormone. It doubles every 48-72 hours. Every woman has a different body and needs time for producing enough hCG.

A woman might disregard a faint positive pregnancy test as an evaporation line. An evaporation line is a mark left by urine after it completely evaporates from the kit.

Urine defects can color the urine. A faint positive pregnancy test in case of kits that show plus sign for pregnancy is different from the evaporation line.

EPT pregnancy test and First Response Pregnancy Test don’t have this issue. The faint positive EPT pregnancy test means that you are at an early stage of pregnancy.

What does a faint positive pregnancy test look like?

A faint positive pregnancy test looks like a very thin line. For some this may even seem invisible.

A faint positive pregnancy test looks like an evaporation line. An indented line is the mark of hCG antibodies. These are the detector particles.

Pregnancy tests that have a symbolic display of results can avoid faint positive confusion. Upon careful observation, you’ll see that there is a faint positive plus sign.

A faint positive plus sign can never be an evaporation line. Evaporation lines only occur in the direction of urine movement.

What to do with a faint positive pregnancy test?

After getting a faint positive pregnancy test don’t consider that you are not pregnant. It is the biggest mistake you could make.

A faint positive pregnancy test needs a duplicate test after two days. The levels of hCG go on doubling after 48 hours.

It is best to use the same pregnancy test brand to repeat a pregnancy test after 48 hours.

Avoid the temptation of getting a different kind of test if the previous one was not expired or defective.

While duplicating it is crucial that you opt for a similar test to avoid the error rates adding up.

Using a digital pregnancy test minimizes the possibility of getting a false positive pregnancy test.

Digital pregnancy tests are more accurate because they don’t leave anything for interpretation.

The results display in result window as phrases or symbols.

What can you do after getting a faint positive pregnancy test?

After getting a faint positive pregnancy test, you need to repeat it after two days. The hCG levels will rise above or up to 25 mIU/mL after a week from implantation.

So if you got a faint positive pregnancy test on the day of the missed period, then you can wait and keep testing for a week.

It is essential that you calculate your missed period due date correctly. After getting a faint positive pregnancy test don’t start taking your birth control.

Birth control pills cannot do anything after conception. They will only harm the pregnancy. You can tell your doctor about the faint positive pregnancy test.

It is possible that you have a tubal pregnancy. When implantation occurs at the wrong place in the tubes, then the hCG levels don’t rise rapidly.

A chemical pregnancy is a miscarriage that occurs very early. If your hCG levels don’t pick up then, you are prone to a chemical pregnancy.

A molar pregnancy is when the egg is empty, and embryo development doesn’t occur. The tissue that was to become an embryo instead becomes a mass of cells. It needs surgery, and so you need to tell your doctor about the faint positive pregnancy test.

You can repeat pregnancy test after getting a faint positive pregnancy test. There is nothing to worry about if you get a faint positive pregnancy test.

So you’re trying to conceive. You’re noticing early signs of pregnancy like cramps and no periods. You take a pregnancy test hoping for a positive result. But you get a negative pregnancy test after 12 days. Why is it so? Read further to know about the reasons for 12 days late negative pregnancy test

12 days late negative pregnancy test and no symptoms of pregnancy?

The first pregnancy test is not the pregnancy test kit but early pregnancy symptoms.

Early pregnancy symptoms include vaginal discharge, breast tenderness, vomiting, nausea, headache, and morning sickness. Only after you see a majority of these symptoms are you can doubt negative pregnancy test result.

If the early pregnancy symptoms are not present, then there is no point that you confuse yourself.

12 days late negative pregnancy test?
12 days late negative pregnancy test?

What are the reasons for 12 days late and a negative pregnancy test?

There may be many reasons for getting a negative pregnancy test after twelve days late periods:

  1. Your pregnancy is slowly but surely progressing, and the hCG hormone is taking the time to build up.
  2. If you have used a diluted urine sample for the pregnancy test, the hCG level in urine will be less. It can lead to the wrong result.
  3. You might be using some birth control pills that may affect pregnancy. While birth control pills don’t interfere with a pregnancy test, but they do affect your pregnancy.
  4. You are not correctly following the pregnancy test instructions.
  5. If you used an expired pregnancy test, then you will get twelve days late and a negative pregnancy test.
  6. You read the results of a pregnancy test too early or too late, then you can get a negative pregnancy test.

What to do after getting twelve days late, but a negative pregnancy test?

If you get twelve days late but negative pregnancy test result, and yet you feel that you are pregnant, then you should repeat the test the next morning.

After two-three trials, you should visit a doctor to know the reasons for getting 12 days late and a negative pregnancy test.

You can even try some home remedies like soaking yourself in a mustard powder bath to restore your regular menstrual cycle.

When will a positive pregnancy test show after twelve days late and a negative pregnancy test?

A positive pregnancy test result will come up only after you have your embryo implanted in your womb.

Even after that, it takes about a week to reach sufficient hCG levels to come in the detectable range of home pregnancy tests.

You can get a positive pregnancy test even after a week from missed periods and up to after three weeks from implantation.

Thus it is recommended that you see a doctor soon after you notice symptoms of pregnancy in you.

If you’re twelve days late, have spotting and a negative pregnancy test?

What happens up till 12 days from the day you have conceived?

A woman may also notice implantation spotting by the week after missed periods and yet get a negative pregnancy test.

It is because your body needs time after implantation to produce hCG. After implantation, the body produces placenta precursors. The placenta is a tissue for transporting nutrients from your body to the baby and all the waste matter from your baby to you.

Your baby cannot do anything by herself and so is dependent on you connected by the placenta.

The hCG hormone is like the master pregnancy hormone that regulates all the functions essential for maintaining the pregnancy.

This hormone doubles every 48-72 hours from the time it begins to form.

A pregnancy test kit detects the hCG hormone. Every pregnancy test is sensitive for a particular minimum level of hCG and above it.

So if you get twelve days late but negative pregnancy test, it means two things. Either your pregnancy test kit is less sensitive, or your body has not produced enough hCG yet.

A negative pregnancy test after 12 days late periods is not something to worry. Generally, the menstrual cycle may vary due to change in hormone levels due to diet, workout, birth control, sleep, and stress. So you can wait for some time and repeat the pregnancy test after a day or two even if you get 12 days late but negative pregnancy test.

What to do after a False Negative Pregnancy test? Repeat a test after a few days or get a blood test. You can get a false negative after a missed period date has crossed. Other reason could be you are testing too early. Breastfeeding and false negative pregnancy test could lead to an unwanted conception. With early digital PT kits, you can test earlier and lower the chances of a false negative.

False negative pregnancy test washes away all your hopes when they must still survive. When you are pregnant but get a negative pregnancy test, it is not only sad but dangerous.

You can continue with habits that you must not. Other possible case is when an unwanted pregnancy goes undetected. It is also harmful as the later stages are more critical for abortion.

A false negative pregnancy test can be because you took the test too early or used a very less sensitive pregnancy test.

In either case, you have got a false pregnancy test and are not aware of it. Therefore, relying on a single home pregnancy test is a mistake.

You need to take two tests with some time lag at least to confirm your results.

What to do after a false negative pregnancy test?

First of all, it is vital that you come to know that you’ve got a false negative pregnancy test.

Only after that, it will be possible that you take some step.

How to find a false negative pregnancy test?

You can find out that you’ve had a false negative pregnancy test when you repeat the test. When you see pregnancy signs, it will tell you that something is wrong.

After taking a pregnancy test and getting a negative result, the first thing you expect is period.

If your period doesn’t return, then you’ll know that the test was not right.

What To Do After A False Negative Pregnancy Test?
What To Do After A False Negative Pregnancy Test?

After getting a false negative pregnancy test during infertility treatment don’t immediately jump to conclusions.

The egg embedment can take time depending upon the stage when the zygote went inside your uterus.

Don’t take any extreme steps like reverting to smoking or drinking when you get a negative pregnancy test.

A simple mistake like taking the test at the wrong time or unknowingly using an expired pregnancy test can give a false negative pregnancy test.

The occurrence of false negative pregnancy test is widespread.

A false positive pregnancy test is less common and happens in two or more cases.

After IVF you get a false positive pregnancy test because of the fertility drugs.

Any cysts can also mimic hCG production and give a false positive pregnancy test.

Can you get a false negative pregnancy test after a missed period?

A pregnancy test can take as long as there weeks to show positive results. Home pregnancy tests have a lifespan, and they expire after that.

During their life, they can undergo accidental damage and give false results or have low sensitivity.

If your body takes longer to produce hCG and you had late implantation, then you will get a false negative pregnancy test after a missed period because it takes at least five days after implantation for reaching the level of hCG that matches the sensitivity of pregnancy test.

If implantation was near the period date, then there will not be enough time for hCG production.

A pregnancy test will not be able to detect pregnancy. The body doubles hCG after every 48-72 hours or two days.

Some women may take even longer than this.

There is nothing to worry about unless you have symptoms like intensifying cramps.

The burrowing of the blastocyst in the endometrial lining causes spotting called implantation bleeding.

Symptoms like cramping, implantation dip, dizziness, and breast changes happen before missed period during pregnancy.

If they don’t happen, then you may not be pregnant at all.

How common is a false negative pregnancy test during breastfeeding?

Unfortunately but false negative home pregnancy tests are prevalent. Some brands might be more efficient in being able to prevent such cases.

EPT, Clearblue, and First Response Pregnancy Test have a higher rate of accurate pregnancy detection.

Despite the high levels of prolactin, it is possible that you ovulate and have a period during breastfeeding. You can get pregnant during the breastfeeding stage.

A false negative pregnancy test is more common at this time because there are different hormones. But there is no evidence for them interfering with a pregnancy test.

Can you get a false negative pregnancy test on the day of the missed period?

The missed period day is too early to expect guaranteed accurate results.

False negative pregnancy test on the day of the missed period is nothing to even bother about.

A missed period is at most a week after implantation and can have low levels of hCG.

People wait for weeks for taking a pregnancy test or period to return.

False negative pregnancy test on the day of the missed period is most probable if you do not use early morning urine.

During early pregnancy, the urine has very little concentration of hCG. The blood hCG levels are higher than urine. A pregnancy blood test can give accurate results at an early stage.

When you don’t get up to go to the loo at night, then your urine concentration rises. Now hCG is more easily accessible for the pregnancy test strip.

But if you don’t use early morning urine or don’t follow the instructions, then you will not get a positive pregnancy test even if pregnant.

What are the causes of a false negative pregnancy test?

There are many causes of a false negative pregnancy test. It is not necessary that false negative pregnancy test only means that you took the test early.

It could be that your pregnancy is not normal.

Tubal pregnancy also gives false negative pregnancy because the hCG levels don’t rise.

When the implantation doesn’t occur in the uterus, the condition is Ectopic pregnancy or tubal pregnancy. Here is a list of causes of false negative pregnancy test:

  1. Every pregnancy test has different and specific instructions. There are no general rules for taking a pregnancy test. Not following instructions for pregnancy test can give a false negative pregnancy test.
  2. Using dilute urine or having low levels of hCG gives a false negative pregnancy test. The pregnancy tests are qualitative and can detect a specific and above that concentration of hCG.
  3. Using an expired or defective pregnancy test puts you at a higher risk of getting wrong HPT results.
  4. Being on certain medications such as anti-inflammatory drugs can give false results.
  5. Taking the pregnancy test before implantation or too early reduces the chances of getting a positive pregnancy test.
  6. Certain conditions like Molar pregnancy where the embryo doesn’t form don’t produce enough hCG. They can give a false negative pregnancy test.

Positive pregnancy test instantly makes an expecting mom euphoric. After that, she may decide to take another test to confirm. If a positive pregnancy test then negative result comes, the bubble of happiness goes pop.

But how does one decide which pregnancy test is real and which is false? It could be that the earlier positive pregnancy test was wrong or this new negative pregnancy test is invalid.

Woman with the positive pregnancy test and then negative worries that she has miscarried. It is too early for miscarriage as hCG levels cannot vanish from your body within 24 hours.

After a miscarriage, it takes a few weeks for hCG levels to flush out from your body. So miscarriage is not a possibility at all.

But yes, you can have an Ectopic pregnancy. The hCG levels produced in that case will be erratic, and you may get a positive pregnancy test then negative.

A positive then the negative test can also be because you repeated the test immediately and your urine sample (the second time around) had had a low concentration of hCG. As you know with not enough hCG to detect, the test will be negative.

A positive pregnancy test followed by a negative pregnancy test is also the case when you duplicate using two different brands.

It is never recommended that you use two different kinds or brands of pregnancy test while duplicating.

Using two different pregnancy tests doesn’t serve the purpose of duplicating the pregnancy test as the error percentage of different pregnancy tests are different.

Positive Pregnancy Test Then Negative?
Positive Pregnancy Test Then Negative?

Positive pregnancy test then negative: What happened?

1) Not taking test correctly

If you make a mistake even in one step of a pregnancy test, you can get a false negative pregnancy test. Positive followed by negative pregnancy test doesn’t mean that you are not pregnant. In most cases, you will be pregnant. Negative pregnancy test when you are pregnant is a false negative pregnancy test.

2) Diluted urine sample

If you immediately duplicate the pregnancy test, then you might not have enough hCG. It is because only early morning urine during early pregnancy has enough hCG. A dilute urine sample will never give a positive pregnancy test at the early stages. Using the most sensitive pregnancy test may avoid this, but you have no guarantee of accuracy.

3) Different brand pregnancy test

Using a different kind of pregnancy test requires you to go through the instructions. You need to read the instructions carefully before taking a pregnancy test. Similarly, if you first took a dip strip pregnancy test then duplicating by midstream testing is risky. Getting a positive pregnancy test then negative is common if you use two different tests. You can find many reputable brands on Amazon.

4) Defective pregnancy test or Expired pregnancy test

If you repeat your pregnancy test with another kit make sure it is not faulty. A defective pregnancy test will not be able to detect pregnancy hormone in your urine. If you see the control line, then you know that the test is working. Expired pregnancy tests also have lost the ability to detect pregnancy because pregnancy tests have a maximum allowed life. It is around 2 years, after this, they must expire.

5) Taking tests after fertility treatments

Pregnancy Test after IVF gives you a false positive pregnancy test because during infertility therapies doctor gives you ovulation drugs. These drugs can elevate the hCG levels in your blood. It may, therefore, cause a positive result and then a negative result scenario. Later on, as the hCG levels fall you get a negative pregnancy test.

6) Pregnancy Test after a miscarriage

If you are taking a pregnancy test after a miscarriage, make sure that the residual hCG has left your body. Taking a pregnancy test after a miscarriage can give positive and then a negative pregnancy test. You need to talk to your doctor before trying to get pregnant after a miscarriage.

7) Misinterpreting the earlier test

You may get evaporation lines after a test. If you consider them as positive, then you will get negative pregnancy test later. Similarly, if you get a positive pregnancy test after result reading time, then it is invalid. Next pregnancy test if read within the time span will be correct.

8) Less sensitive pregnancy test

If the second pregnancy test you are using is less sensitive, then you will get a negative pregnancy test. The first pregnancy test with higher sensitivity could detect low hCG levels. In this case, you should take a third pregnancy test with the same kit as the first time.

9) Ectopic pregnancy

Ectopic pregnancy is uncertain. It can give a positive pregnancy test and then negative because the hCG hormone is not doubling constantly and thus can be erratic. Molar pregnancy also has a similar case when the developing egg doesn’t form the embryo. You may get a positive pregnancy test and then negative. But it should be a positive pregnancy test and then negative a week later or around that.

10) Cysts or other Ovarian diseases

Cysts in ovaries can produce hCG hormone. This hormone changes the color of test line in the pregnancy test. Cysts are a mass of undifferentiated cells. They can elevate the hCG production in your body.

11) Digital pregnancy Positive test then negative

Digital pregnancy tests don’t require you to read the results. But they are very quick. It means that you need to scan the result before they may disappear. We recommend the Clearblue Digital Pregnancy Test with Smart Countdown. It’s very reliable, accurate and comes with a countdown!

Positive digital pregnancy test then negative depending on the time lapsed may be a sign of something is wrong.

It could also be that any of the above reasons for a positive pregnancy test and then negative apply in that case too. Positive pregnancy test turned negative can be because you left the pregnancy test unattended for long.

A positive pregnancy test changing or vice versa has no meaning because after passing of reading time, the result ceases to be reliable.

Am I pregnant if my positive pregnancy test turned negative?

Yes, it is most likely that you are pregnant provided your first pregnancy test was not an evaporation line

The cases of getting false positive pregnancy test are rare. There is only a minor possibility that you took the test after IVF or miscarriage to get a false positive pregnancy test.

No matter how faint positive pregnancy test, you are most likely to be pregnant. You must either repeat a pregnancy test the next morning or get a pregnancy blood test.

Can a positive pregnancy test be wrong?

Pregnancy Test positive then turned negative might make you doubt the accuracy of the positive pregnancy test.

A positive pregnancy test can be wrong because it has only 99% accuracy. Pregnancy test positive then turned negative is not; however, the case that you need to worry.

Positive pregnancy test after IVF can be wrong. Faint positive then a negative pregnancy test is also a sign that you made a mistake while taking the earlier pregnancy test.

You might have read an evaporation line as positive during the first test. Positive pregnancy test and negative result the next day is either because you are using a defective or less sensitive pregnancy test.

Positive pregnancy test then negative – no bleeding

Is it possible that I’m still pregnant after the positive pregnancy test turned negative?

If you have no bleeding after a positive pregnancy test followed by negative, then you need not worry at all.

It only means that the second pregnancy test is false. But a positive pregnancy test and negative result a week later need medical attention.

It could be that you took the pregnancy test after taking fertility drugs.

In that case, you got a false positive pregnancy test the first time around. Later the hCG levels fell, and you got a negative pregnancy test.

Can a pregnancy test be negative and positive the next day?

It is a more frequent case. Within a day such a change might surprise, but hCG levels rise double.

This is why it is possible that you get a negative pregnancy test and positive the next day.

Delaying of the period by a week is not unusual but still causes panic. A week late period negative pregnancy test can give any woman anxious moments.

This is because most pregnancy tests say that they can detect pregnancy five days before a missed period. You still patiently wait for the missed period and even after that you get a negative pregnancy test.

Now you start worrying about endless things and call your doctor. You browse all possible resources on the net to get some assurance that nothing is wrong and you don’t have to wait for another month for getting pregnant.

Look no further. We will explain to you everything about this scenario! ????

Week Late Period Negative Pregnancy Test?
Week Late Period Negative Pregnancy Test?

Period a week late negative pregnancy test

Good news!

A one-week late period negative pregnancy test is not something to worry about.

Most women get a positive pregnancy test at 3 weeks. But not all bodies are the same and so can take more time to produce the hCG levels for the pregnancy test.

Pregnancy tests have different sensitivities and so may not be able to detect lower hCG levels.

On the other hand, a delayed period is not enough of an indicator that you are pregnant.

Perhaps you know even simple flu can delay a period or dieting for a month can cause a late period.

No symptoms and week late period negative pregnancy

If you don’t show any symptoms of pregnancy, then you must consider other reasons for the late period.

If you have recently started birth control, then your body needs time to adjust to the new cycle of hormones.

Similarly, when you change your sleeping pattern you can get a week late period.

Eating disorders can cause a week late period and a negative pregnancy test.

If you have no symptoms of being pregnant, then you may be having a tubal pregnancy. A tubal pregnancy is unpredictable. Many things can go offbeat during a tubal pregnancy. You may or may not get a positive pregnancy test in case of tubal pregnancy.

It could also be that you are not taking the pregnancy test at the right time. During early pregnancy, your body has low levels of hCG.

If you take a pregnancy test at any random time, then you may get a negative pregnancy test. It is the case when your pregnancy signs are also taking longer to appear. And even in other cases, one week is too early to expect a lot of pregnancy symptoms.

PMS and early pregnancy share the same symptoms like cramps and nausea. A week late period could also be a miscalculation.

A woman who keeps a record of her menstrual cycle can detect a week late period, but for other women with an irregular menstrual cycle, it may go unnoticed.

Week late period negative pregnancy and white discharge

White discharge before period is a sign of early pregnancy and ovulation.

The reasons for the delayed period may be late ovulation. You could get a week late period negative pregnancy and white discharge if your ovulation was late.

One early pregnancy symptom is thick white discharge. It is for the preparation of the baby’s protection.

If you see thick white vaginal discharge, then you must not rule out the possibility of being pregnant.

It could be that your hCG levels are taking longer than usual to rise. The pregnancy hormone takes 48-72 hours to double, but it can take longer.

You must tell your doctor about it and get a pregnancy blood test.

If you have no symptoms and a week late period negative pregnancy white discharge, then it could be an infection.

Sexually transmitted diseases have a white discharge as a symptom. But in that case, the white discharge will have a yellow tinge and foul smell. Cheesy white discharge, gooey vaginal discharge, and smelly mucus are symptoms of infections. Other symptoms of venereal diseases include burning during urination, rashes, and bleeding.

Reasons for the week late period negative pregnancy test:

  1. Hormonal misbalance
  2. Extensive workout
  3. Perimenopause
  4. Breastfeeding
  5. Stress
  6. Sleep deprivation
  7. Dietary loopholes
  8. Thyroid diseases
  9. Disturbance in the biological clock
  10. Illness
  11. Diabetes and celiac diseases
  12. Birth control pills
  13. PCOD
  14. Weight fluctuations

Period 2 weeks late negative pregnancy test

This situation arises when either you have a chemical pregnancy, or you are using a defective pregnancy test. An expired pregnancy test cannot detect pregnancy no matter how high the hCG level be. A pregnancy test has life because the dye can function for a limited time. 2 weeks late period negative pregnancy test is enough for you to get alert that something is not right.

Period 2 weeks late spotting negative pregnancy test is a sign that you have implantation. Implantation bleeding is spotting and a symptom of pregnancy.

Implantation is the process of attachment of the embryo to the uterus lining. Only after implantation, the placenta starts forming the hCG hormone.

The hCG hormone comes in urine after implantation.

Period 3 weeks late but negative pregnancy

3 weeks late period negative test is high time that you get a hospital pregnancy test. Three weeks is sufficient time for any pregnancy to have enough hCG for pregnancy detection.

Can you get a positive pregnancy test at 3 weeks?

After three weeks you can get a positive pregnancy test at any time of day in some cases. But if you still use early morning urine, then you are most likely to get a positive pregnancy test if you are pregnant.

Most pregnancy tests detect hCG levels around 25 mIU/mL. It is mostly attained by three weeks of pregnancy. Period 3 weeks late but negative pregnancy test hints that you have some health problem. It could be any disease like ovarian cysts or fibroids.

After taking a pregnancy test if the test says that you are pregnant, then it is a positive pregnancy test. After the initial euphoria, a question pops up: “Now, that it’s a positive pregnancy test: Now what?”

With a positive pregnancy test, you are at the first milestone of a nine months-long process.

You may feel anxious, happy and worried altogether. Thoughts of labor, cramps, morning sickness, body changes and stretch marks, needless to say, makes you worry.

In this article, we will tell you exactly how to proceed once you get a positive test! ????

Positive Pregnancy Test : Now What?
Positive Pregnancy Test : Now What?

What is a positive pregnancy test?

A positive pregnancy test is the result that says you are pregnant. It can be a plus sign or pregnant phrase. Digital pregnancy tests show the word Pregnant or Yes. Standard pregnancy tests have hCG strips that show two lines for a pregnant woman.

A positive pregnancy test means that implantation of the embryo was successful and that hCG formation by placenta has begun. The placenta is a protective covering for the growing embryo.

The early placenta secretes the pregnancy hormone hCG. This is responsible for maintaining pregnancy and guides the other hormones needed for it. The same hormone starts coming in the urine of the pregnant woman. A home pregnancy test detects this hormone (hCG) is urine.

What does a positive pregnancy test look like?

Every pregnancy test brand has a different way of showing positive pregnancy test. Some pregnancy tests show a plus sign for the positive pregnancy test.

The standard hCG strip pregnancy test shows two lines when the result is positive.

Digital pregnancy tests may either show ‘Yes‘ or ‘Pregnant‘. A positive pregnancy test may be a faint line if you take the test too early.

A big fat positive pregnancy test is a clear test line when the hCG levels are enough. When you have twin pregnancy then you are more likely to get a positive pregnancy test.

Positive pregnancy test after miscarriage is also thin positive. After IVF treatment false positive pregnancy test looks like a positive pregnancy test.

Just by looking nobody can tell difference between a false positive and positive pregnancy test.

How does positive pregnancy test look during Ectopic pregnancy?

During an ectopic pregnancy, hCG levels can fluctuate. This is when you may get a positive then negative pregnancy test.

A positive pregnancy test during ectopic pregnancy is faint. The hCG levels don’t rise rapidly in a tubal pregnancy.

What does positive pregnancy test look like in Ectopic pregnancy? Mostly in a tubal pregnancy, a positive pregnancy test is a very faint positive pregnancy test.

Your doctor can use methotrexate to treat a tubal pregnancy at an early stage.

An undiagnosed ectopic pregnancy can burst the fallopian tubes. Surgery of the tubes can affect the fertility of the woman.

If the tubes and ovaries need removal then the woman is left with a single ovary. Such a case will bring the cessation of ovulation cycle near.

The repertoire of eggs reduces to half as only one ovary is left. Ovaries have egg follicles in limited number and they don’t increase after birth.

Unlike sperms in men, eggs are not made after birth. This is why a positive pregnancy test after ectopic pregnancy is significant.

How does pregnancy test look like in multiple gestations?

When there are more than one embryos developing in the womb then hCG levels rise more rapidly. They will be higher than a single embryo because there are two closely located placentas producing hCG.

Getting a big fat positive pregnancy test is more likely when you have multiple gestations.

But a home pregnancy test cannot confirm whether you have twin pregnancy or triplets.

Your doctor will use an ultrasound test after 6 weeks of pregnancy to confirm that you are pregnant with twins.

In 6 weeks ultrasound, you’ll see two closely spaced placental sacs.

Positive pregnancy test: Now what?

After understanding and reassuring yourself that you did get a positive pregnancy test, read on.

Steps to take after you get your telltale two pink lines include your entire pregnancy schedule.

Unless it is a surprise or unplanned pregnancy the time to think about whether or not you want to be a mamma has ticked off.

Now, is the time to work on how to be a healthy and happy mamma to be – confetti! You don’t need to become a pregnancy prodigy overnight. We’re here to answer all your questions as they come. But you must start taking steps for a healthy and easy pregnancy.

1) Visit your gynecologist and get a blood test

The most important thing you must do after you know you’re pregnant is to visit your gynecologist. Some women refrain from visiting their OB until its the fourth week.

Ideally you must not delay and head to the doctor soon after getting a positive home pregnancy test.

A pregnancy blood test will confirm pregnancy. Calculating your due date using online calculator is fine for settling the excitement. But only a doctor can time pregnancy using conventional conception calculator methods.

It will include the period from your last period. If you remember it, you can predict the date. But there are certain factors that only a doctor can consider and relate with your pregnancy due date.

Also your doctor will be able to diagnose whether the cause of hCG rise is pregnancy or empty egg.

2) Pregnancy Announcement and Celebrations

Pregnancy occurs for a few times in your life unless you intend on having a big happy family. Nevertheless each pregnancy is special.

There are endless funny ways to announce pregnancy or romantic ways to tell your husband that you are pregnant. Read about them, laugh, rejoice and relish this time of life. Later you’re going to miss each of these moments.

Record, click snaps, decide your maternity photo shoot theme, gender reveal party and a whole lot. Are we sounding equally excited as you? We truly are!

3) Jotting your birth plan

It may seem early but there are so many options that you can start now. Whether you want a natural birth or C section. The trial of labor after C section TOLAC or Vaginal Birth After Caesarean VBAC are important when you have got a positive pregnancy test the second time.

Whether you want to have a labor coach, doula, midwife, or OB-Gyn is an elementary decision.

Similarly you will get to know your body’s preferences such as comfortable positions, breathing techniques, candles, music, food etc. Keep adding them in the birth plan and always have a plan B.

Planning is important because if you decide a natural delivery then you must try birthing classes. Kegels will improve your chances of having a labor without tearing.

4) Maternity Leave, Breastfeeding choices

You can wait for at least 20 weeks before telling anyone about your pregnancy. There is absolutely no need for them to know and bother you every now and then asking questions.

Even if you’d be genuinely angry at something they’d put in on your hormones. And that can seriously trigger you beyond control.

So, keep your secret and blame it on chicken nuggets. Once you start showing your bump tell your boss not because you owe but rather to plan your maternity leave.

Work shouldn’t suffer and someone can volunteer or be appointed to look after till you can rejoin.

Start thinking of breastfeeding plans, but not because it’s time. Once you are in third trimester you practically will be too tired or moody to take such decisions.

If you have a toddler see that there is someone to attend to them. Helping hand for daily chores must be sorted.

5) Plan your diet and consult a nutritionist

What you eat directly affects your baby. Don’t fall for ‘eating for two’ idea. Consult an expert about which prenatal vitamins do you need in first trimester.

Next check for empty calories. Observe your aversions and triggers of nausea. Eat small servings at regular intervals. Stop starve feed habits.

Stay hydrated all the time.

Include lots of veggies, fruits and natural foods. Check with your doctor regarding risks of gestational diabetes or other pregnancy disorders in you. Take necessary precautions.

Seafood during pregnancy or canned food needs a lot of care.

Constipation is going to drive you nuts and become a major reason for further complications. Make sure you know the suitable laxatives for your while pregnant.

6) Pregnancy Clothing and Stock Up Supplies

You’re going to grow and you will need new clothes. Trying to fit in your tight jeggings will feel like a challenge you want to take up.

Wearing comfy clothes and soft maternity bras goes a long way for staying happy during pregnancy. Long arm bathing brushes, and accessories will make things easier for you. Old perfumes and soaps might make you feel sick, get mild ones.

Makeup kit need a makeover and only pregnancy safe makeup can come inside.

7) Read, Learn, Talk and Ask about Pregnancy

The more you’ll learn the better you’ll be prepared. So read about pregnancy, parenting, labor, breathing techniques, prenatal diet, postpartum depression etc.

Ask as many questions about pregnancy and related from us or anyone learned.

Talk to other women who have been through it or are in the same boat as you.

You will come to know of the most precious suggestions from people who have actually done what you’re yet to do.

8) Relax, Sleep, and Start Pregnancy Exercises

Once the baby is here, momma is not going to get enough sleep. Midnight coos, cute fights for more milk, attention-grabbing moves and all possible adorable things will steal your night’s sleep.

So, sleep, relax and keep calm during pregnancy.

Unexpected scary things will happen and only a peaceful mature mind can help you through them.

Don’t panic and rush to the doctor at every little thing. It’s ‘pregnancy’ and is gooing to be a real struggle.

Even if you’ve spent your life making excuses for not hitting the gym, it’s time to workout. Search for pregnancy workouts, kegels, yoga for pregnant women, and labor coaches.

Running during pregnancy first trimester is safe and healthy exercise. The fit you’re before childbirth the faster you’ll lose weight postpartum!

9) Quit Smoking, Drugs, and Caffeine

No more party drugs, alcohol, smoking and coffee energy boosters. Enjoy your morning sickness hungover without touching alcohol.

Wine during pregnancy has new recommendations and you may get to drink a glass once in a while. Similarly, for caffeine, you can take a limited amount every day.

For antidepressants or any such medication you’ll have to consult your doctor. Some of them can affect your baby’s development.

10) Mark your calendar with prenatal visits, ultrasound, tests

Just so that you don’t forget them. You have a whole lot of tests to choose from. You can skip few and others are mandatory.

Prenatal tests and screening such a maternal fetoprotein quad screen or fetal non-stress test will assess the state of your pregnancy.

Ultrasound scans will be more important than just bae goals.

11) Cuddle, Trouble and Love your Partner

Fight over baby’s name, dress him up like your baby girl, sleep in his sweatshirt and make every second blissful.

Doubtful about sex during pregnancy? Sex is safe during pregnancy just a little bit of care to avoid jerks are pressure.

Nupe! baby isn’t seeing you two and won’t get hurt. These few months are the last time when you two are alone.

The little one is going to add on to this happiness but with a little bit of responsibility adding up too.

Start saving money too, because relationships with financial crisis after a baby have tragic endings.

Read parenting books and meet with parent kins grandparents would be best. Feel happy even when leg cramps hurt, or morning sickness strikes.

All the tough parts will make sense when they become memories.

12) Counseling sessions for Pregnancy

Don’t let thoughts like your partner is drifting from you come to you. Your body is going through changes but he isn’t.

For him, it will be difficult to be involved every second like you’re.

Secondly, neither consider the baby a solution nor a burden. You need to work on your relationship yourself and sort things out too.

In case of conflicts regarding the distribution of parenting responsibilities or single parenting get counseling too.

Younger siblings need few sessions too in order to have the best setting for the new member. Their existence feels challenged until you involve them.

So make sure you’re equally attentive to their needs. The newborn needs warmth and comfort but toddlers or elder ones need involvement.

Positive Pregnancy Test Now What
Positive Pregnancy Test Now What

When should you go to the doctor after a positive pregnancy test?

After you get a positive pregnancy test, you must get a blood test done.

Your first prenatal visit can be soon after you get a positive home pregnancy test.

Do not hurry your appointment before you cross 3 weeks. Once you are sure that your home pregnancy test is accurate you can go to the doctor.

Women on birth control or not wanting to get pregnant must get an appointment before taking any over the counter drugs.

What does positive pregnancy test mean?

A positive pregnancy test means that you are going to be a mother soon. Pregnancy gives a positive pregnancy test result.

After the process of implantation is successful hCG starts coming in the urine of pregnant woman. A positive pregnancy test is also a sign that placenta formation is going normally.

If you have symptoms like shortness of breath, chest pain and cramping with a positive pregnancy test, you may be having a tubal pregnancy.

How accurate is a positive pregnancy test?

A positive or negative pregnancy test can be accurate or false. There is no guarantee that either of them will be accurate.

For getting accurate pregnancy test you must wait for the right time and follow instructions. Do not settle with a single test whatever be the result.

A positive pregnancy test after 4 weeks is most likely to be accurate. By the time you cross 4 weeks the levels of hCG are enough to avoid a false test.

Can there be false positive pregnancy test?

A false positive pregnancy test is rare but does occur. A false negative pregnancy test is more common.

A false positive pregnancy test means that you are actually not pregnant when the test says that you are. A false positive pregnancy test is possible when you take the pregnancy test after miscarriage or IVF.

This is because fertility drugs and hCG from previous pregnancy cause the pregnancy test to show positive results.

Some medicines also can give positive pregnancy test. Anti-inflammatory drugs and some antibiotics can cause false positive pregnancy test.

Every woman prefers a particular type of birth control method for her. It depends on her desire to space her babies or her body’s condition. Your caretaker might recommend you a particular contraception. One should always get it checked whether the selected over-the-counter contraceptive is safe for her or not. Other contraceptive devices are professionally inserted into your body or given as injection shots. One of such contraceptive method is the Intrauterine Device (IUD). They are small loops or T-shaped contraceptive devices implanted into the uterus. They block the reproductive pathways or make the uterus hostile to pregnancy. One such intrauterine device IUD is Mirena. Many women ask us if there is a possibility of a false negative pregnancy test with Mirena?

What is Mirena?

Mirena is an intrauterine device in the shape of a T that has a life of 5 years. This means that it will not allow you to get pregnant until the next 5 years from implantation. The time span of effectiveness is a little less than what we calculate. Mirena takes time to start working. It may slightly lose the ability to prevent pregnancy a little before expiry. It has 99% accuracy in preventing pregnancy.

What does Mirena do?

Mirena works by combining all the mechanisms of an intrauterine device. Mirena blocks your reproductive pathway. The sperms can no longer reach the egg in the fallopian tubes. Mirena releases hormones or metal ions for making the uterus hostile for sperms and implantation.

But if Mirena fails, then you can get pregnant. If you are already pregnant, Mirena cannot stop any event of pregnancy. So till Mirena is in a good working state, you will not get pregnant. If you get pregnant with Mirena, then it will not affect pregnancy. In short pregnancy test and Mirena have no relation. In the presence of one, the other one takes a back seat. Mirena prevents pregnancy in the first place itself rather than hampering it later.

Can you get pregnant when you have Mirena?

No contraception method is 100% effective. Only sterilisation is the way of ensuring a 100% guarantee for not getting pregnant. Sterilization methods like tying tubes ensure complete contraception.

So yes, you can get pregnant even after you have got a Mirena IUD transplanted in you. This is especially the case when you’ve just got Mirena transplanted.

Your body needs time to make up the environment hostile to sperms. The rhythmic cycles of hormones cannot alter within minutes. The body needs time, and in this phase, you can get pregnant even with Mirena. But getting false negative pregnancy test with Mirena IUD doesn’t happen in any case.

When the Mirena IUD reaches last days of its lifespan, its effectiveness reduces. The ability to make uterus unsuitable for pregnancy or preventing sperms from fertilising the egg reduces.

When the time for getting a new Mirena nears, the chances of getting pregnancy also increase. However, even in this case, you will not get a false negative pregnancy test with Mirena IUD.

Another major reason for getting pregnant even after having Mirena is Mirena passing in urine. Such IUDs can pass out from the woman’s uterus due to sudden jerks even without letting her know about it.

So if such an incident occurs and Mirena no longer resides in your uterus then again you have a high probability of getting pregnant.

False Negative Pregnancy Test With Mirena
False Negative Pregnancy Test With Mirena?

False negative pregnancy test with Mirena

Now let’s talk about getting a false negative pregnancy test with Mirena. A woman with Mirena doesn’t expect pregnancy.

If she feels the symptoms of early pregnancy and gets a negative pregnancy test, she may consider Mirena responsible.

Symptoms like bloating, vomiting and headache, are common in early pregnancy before missed period.

But pregnancy tests detect hCG in urine. It takes time for the body to start hCG production. Only after the placenta begins growing, hCG production begins. It takes about one and a half week after conception.

At earliest if you can know whether you are pregnant, it is after 11 days from conception. Mirena doesn’t interfere with hCG production.

This might not be the case however, and instead, it could be just that some other reason is causing the symptoms similar to pregnancy.

Mirena cannot give a false pregnancy test. Mirena doesn’t interfere with the production of pregnancy hormones in the body.

A pregnancy test detects hCG pregnancy hormone in your urine. Mirena doesn’t give false negative pregnancy test.

If someone continues to get a negative pregnancy test with Mirena, it may be because she is not pregnant.

Similarly, as last days of Mirena lifetime approach, there are chances that the woman gets pregnant. Even in this case, false negative pregnancy test with Mirena isn’t possible.

Other case is when you are pregnant even after having Mirena. If you get a false negative pregnancy test when you are pregnant the most probable reason is that you took the test too early.

Reasons for getting a false negative test with Mirena

There are many reasons for getting a false negative pregnancy test such as:

  1. Your body is producing low levels of hCG
  2. Using a diluted urine sample like afternoon urine or evening urine
  3. Using an expired or defective pregnancy test
  4. Taking the test too early after getting pregnant
  5. Not following the instructions of the pregnancy test
  6. Not applying enough sample of urine to the pregnancy test kit
  7. Chemical pregnancy or tubal pregnancy

All these are the causes for getting a negative pregnancy test with Mirena.

False negative pregnancy test after removal of Mirena

When any woman removes a long-term contraceptive, there are many side effects associated with it. The after effects of removal of Mirena are together called ‘Mirena crash’. All this chaos happens because your body needs time to restore the normal reproductive cycles.

The symptoms are vomiting, nausea, headache, bloating, and abdominal cramps. They are very similar to early pregnancy symptoms.

A woman who has got Mirena crash might take it as if she is pregnant. Mirena crash symptoms may be similar to early pregnancy symptoms, but the conditions are different.

And also this may be a reason for her not conceiving soon after the removal of Mirena.

So what you take as a false negative pregnancy test after removal of Mirena is actually a true negative pregnancy test.

After removal of Mirena, your period cycle will resume. It may take a week or two depending on your body. Mirena is not a permanent sterilisation method. Hence it is reversible. As soon as you remove Mirena normal reproductive fertility restoration starts in you.

It is possible that a woman becomes pregnant after removal of Mirena. Birth control hormones remain in her bloodstream for some time. Thus it may take some time for her to get a positive pregnancy test after removal of Mirena.

What to do after a false negative pregnancy test with Mirena?

If you continue to experience symptoms of early pregnancy and still get a negative pregnancy test with Mirena, then it is time to see the doctor.

A doctor will discuss your entire medical history. Then she’ll tell you the most accurate interpretation of the present condition. Mirena never causes a false negative pregnancy test. There is no way it can hamper hCG formation by the placenta.

Contraceptive devices always have some side effects. Some of them have extreme side effects because after all, you are altering the innate mechanisms of your body.

There are several side effects of using contraceptive devices like weight gain, irritation of uterine lining, breakout bleeding, and acne. For this reason, it is extremely important that you consult a professional before taking any contraceptive device.

Late Period But Negative Pregnancy Test? Missing their periods is something every woman dreads when it is not supposed to be that way.

There could be many reasons for a late period. Stress can delay a period.  If you haven’t indulged in any sexual activity, then a late period is not something to be afraid of.

Even in cases when you are not pregnant, you may miss your periods due to normal hormonal fluctuation. It is OK if your period is late by a day or three or even a week. But as a precautionary measure one should take a pregnancy test after you have missed your periods by a week.

But just opposite to this scenario lies another problem which is getting a negative pregnancy test and not even getting your periods.

What does late period but negative pregnancy test mean?

There can be several reasons for late periods other than pregnancy. There are several others for a late period but negative pregnancy test result.

We will discuss each one of them for you. Any reason for a late period other than pregnancy will give a negative pregnancy test.

Reasons for late periods

As a quick reference list, the following are the reasons for late periods:

  1. Hormonal misbalance
  2. Stress
  3. Sleep deprivation
  4. Dietary loopholes
  5. Extensive workout
  6. Perimenopause – the decline of female hormones after the age of 4o to 50
  7. PCOD
  8. Weight
  9. Breastfeeding
  10. Thyroid diseases
  11. Disturbance in the biological clock
  12. Illness
  13. Diabetes and celiac diseases
  14. Birth control pills
  15. Pregnancy

These 15 reasons for a late period have only one reason for getting a positive pregnancy test. So if you get late period negative pregnancy test it is normal!

Only 1/15 cases of late-period give a positive pregnancy test. Pregnancy is the only reason for late period positive pregnancy test.

Rest all will give late period negative pregnancy test.

Late Period But Negative Pregnancy Test
Late Period But Negative Pregnancy Test

20 Reasons for late period but negative pregnancy test

1) Low levels of hCG hormone produced by the placenta

The reason for getting a negative pregnancy test is that hCG levels are still not sufficient enough. It could be because your placenta is taking more than normal time to form.

It is the placenta that secrets the hormone hCG. Pregnancy tests detect this hormone. If your body doesn’t produce enough hCG, then pregnancy test will not detect it.

2) Using a dilute sample of urine for taking the pregnancy test

In the early stage of pregnancy, your body produces very low levels of hCG. hCG level keeps doubling as your pregnancy progresses.

After reaching the peak level, the hCG level then starts declining. The hCG hormone comes out in your urine. It takes the time to achieve a high concentration.

Your urine gets concentrated if you don’t excrete even when you feel a full bladder. The water gets reabsorbed, and other waste components add. Even hCG gets concentrated. So one needs to take a concentrated urine sample to have enough hCG in it. Otherwise, the hCG will not be detectable.

3) Tubal pregnancy

If you have a chemical pregnancy then you might get a negative pregnancy test and at the same time, your periods won’t come.

A tubal pregnancy is a case when the embryo doesn’t get implanted inside your uterus and instead gets attached to the fallopian tube walls. So this would interfere with both the things namely your periods and your pregnancy.

4) Perimenopause

Perimenopause is the gradual decline of female hormones in blood after the age of 40s. In females, this is a prominent phenomenon and is early menopause stage. Hence if your female hormone levels are gradually declining, then you will not get your period and a negative pregnancy test.

5) High levels of stress

High levels of stress are an underrated cause of diseases. Stress is a risk factor for almost every disorder. High levels of stress can affect the microbes in your gut and can even make you infertile.

Mental or physical stress will neither let your menstrual cycle be normal nor will it allow you to conceive. So you will get late erratic periods and negative pregnancy test if you have high levels of stress.

6) Diseases such as PCOD

Diseases of ovary such as ovarian cancer or PCOD (polycystic ovary syndrome) affect the normal functions of ovaries. So due to cysts or benign tumors ovaries won’t be able to ovulate (release eggs) and hence you won’t get your periods.

For those of you who don’t know the reason for getting periods, the bleeding is due to sloughing off the vaginal lining. This vaginal lining is for implantation of the embryo if the egg and sperm fertilize.

In cases of PCOD and other illness, you won’t be able to get pregnant too. Hence when you are suffering PCOD, you will get a late period and negative pregnancy test.

7) Breastfeeding

Breastfeeding has a natural contraception phenomenon related to it called Lactational Amenorrhoea. This is the absence of menstrual cycle for few months when a nursing mother is breastfeeding her baby.

The lactation hormones suppress the reproductive hormone. It is nature’s way for spacing between offspring. Thus, during breastfeeding you will get a late period but negative pregnancy test.

8) Extensive workout and physical activity

Athletes and other women involved in extensive physical work show a complete absence of menstrual cycle. This is called Amenorrhoea – an absence of periods.

If you don’t get periods that means you won’t be able to become pregnant normally. So you will get no periods and negative pregnancy test.

9) Frequent Weight fluctuations

Weight has a significant role to play when it comes to fertility and menstrual cycle. A woman who has a fluctuating weight pattern will experience irregular periods.

She might have difficulty in getting pregnant and sustaining a pregnancy. It also can be a reason for getting an early or late period and negative pregnancy test.

10) Thyroid diseases

The thyroid is a gland that is responsible for controlling the basal metabolic rate. It influences the reproductive functioning of the body too. Hence thyroid makes you prone to late periods and negative pregnancy test.

11) Urinary tract infections

Urinary tract infections can spread to cause severe vaginitis. If you have vaginitis, then your vaginal lining will not develop. The vaginal lining sheds off as periods. If this lining doesn’t form, then you will get the late period and negative pregnancy test.

12) Illness

Any disease that weakens your immune system can delay your period. Diseases as common as flu or cold can also be a reason for the late period but negative pregnancy test. Typhoid and other illnesses that reduce your weight can cause late period negative pregnancy test.

13) Diabetes and celiac diseases

Metabolic diseases alter the sugar level in the body. These also affect the hormone production. Estrogen is essential for the formation of the vaginal lining. If the vaginal lining is thin, then you will not get period. Diabetes is another reason for late period negative pregnancy test.

14) Birth control pills

Birth control pills alter the entire hormone balance in your body. If you take birth control, you may get a late period. When you stop your birth control pills, your body takes time to restore the menstrual cycle. Still, you’ll get late period negative pregnancy test.

15) Disturbance in the biological clock

If you are traveling and your sleep patterns turn by 180˚ everything goes haywire. Changes in sleeping pattern disrupt the entire body.

Traveling and changing your day’s routine can cause late period negative pregnancy test.

16) Hormone misbalance

Hormone misbalance due to any medications like antidepressants can cause late period negative pregnancy test. These drugs will not directly affect the menstrual cycle. But their presence exerts negative feedback on other hormones.

Similarly, after an IVF treatment, you may get a late period negative pregnancy test as the hCG levels of the fertility drugs first decline, and then the implantation occurs. Only after that will you get a positive pregnancy test.

17) Medications or Drugs and smoking

Any medicines or drugs that are not prescribed by a doctor can also cause late period negative pregnancy test. Smoking is a cause of infertility in women. Taking drugs and other illegal stimulants is a reason for late period negative pregnancy test.

Drugs make conceiving hard. Even if you get pregnant, the drugs can damage your pregnancy.

18) Dietary changes

Dietary changes leading to obesity or sudden weight loss can cause a change in menstrual cycle. It can result in late period negative pregnancy test.

19) Mishandling of pregnancy test

If you do not know how to take a pregnancy test you will certainly get a late period negative pregnancy test. In this case, it may be that you are pregnant and you have a late period false negative pregnancy test.

Mishandling of pregnancy tests includes reading results after allotted time. Read pregnancy test instructions thoroughly before conducting the test.

20) Using expired or defective pregnancy test

Similarly, even if you are pregnant, but you take an expired pregnancy test, you will face the scenario of the late-period false negative pregnancy test.

Expired and defective home pregnancy test cannot detect hCG hormone. They will give you false negative pregnancy test after a late period.

Late period But negative pregnancy test & no symptoms

Late period negative pregnancy test no symptoms mean that you are not pregnant.

There are many reasons for late period negative pregnancy test no symptoms.

Late period negative pregnancy test no symptoms mean that you are not pregnant. If you have Late period negative pregnancy test no symptoms but feel extreme pain, then consult a doctor.

Late period negative pregnancy test after IVF is because your body needs time to build up hCG. It is nothing to worry about.

Late period But negative pregnancy test with white discharge

Late period negative pregnancy test with white discharge hints that you may be pregnant. The pregnancy may be at a very early stage, so you are getting late period false negative pregnancy test.

Late period negative pregnancy test with spotting and cramping is also a sign that you can be pregnant. Wait for a week and then retake a pregnancy test.

Negative pregnancy test and missed period don’t always mean that you are pregnant. If you have late period negative pregnancy test with no symptoms then indeed you are not pregnant.
