Cervical mucus is not a reliable indicator of pregnancy. If you have white cervical mucus and period due then take a pregnancy test.

White discharge before period is beacuse of increase in progesterone in luteal phase. Cheesy discharge from vagina is in infection or STD state.

Cervical mucus period refers to a long period. Thickw white discharge is normal before period. Dry phase is just before teh onset of menstrual flow.
